Episode 100 Earn The Turn

"We Are The Luckiest People On Earth." The guys get to work settling in to base camp. They also make their first exploratory climb to check out the snow conditions.

When you're thousands of miles away from the closest ski resort and happen to be on a mountain that has never seen a single skier throughout it's entire geologic history, there's only one way to get a snow report.

That's right - climb up and ski down. It's known as "earning your turns" and the guys earn quite a few turns on their first Annapurna IV excursion.
